Planet Neptune

Neptune is by far one of my favorite planets. Not because there's anything special about the planet, but mainly because of it's raw beauty. Neptune is a gas giant sitting 2.8 billion miles away from the sun, making it the 8th and final planet in the solar system, taking Neptune roughly 165 earth years to complete a full orbit around the sun.
Prior to the denouncement of Pluto being a planet, they would ever so often change places with one another as being the final planet due to Pluto having an irregular orbit pattern around the sun. Neptune, is a gas/ice giant, 4th largest in our solar system, and is mainly comprised of a very thick, very hot combination of water, ammonia, and methane over a possible heavier, Earth-sized, solid core (solarsystem). Because of its icy bluish color, Neptune was named after the Roman god of the sea and was the first planet to be discovered mathematically instead of by observations in 1846. Neptune has 6 rings, 13 confirmed moons and 1 moon waiting official confirmation (solarsystem), as well as a great dark spot like that of Jupiter which is large enough to contain the entirety of the earth. This dark spot was discovered in 1989 as Voyager 2 ventured out to the farthest reaches of the solar system.
Neptune is also known as the windiest planet in our solar system, with gust of winds that can be nine times stronger than that of the the winds here on earth. People here on earth complain about not having enough hours in the day, yet, if they were to stand on Neptune, their day would be even shorter. Each day on Neptune last a measly 16 earth hours; doesn't give much time to play after working all day now does it?
